The Challenge:
To repeatedly find yourself in the recruitment marketplace, or needing to manage and sustain the acquisition and deployment of contract resource is problematic for most organisations. When, like Petro Canada, you have a frequently expanding and contracting set of demands, it’s well nigh impossible to achieve an optimum resource balance. Petro Canada were faced with such a dilemma and so were prepared to experiment with a new concept - one which added a resource channel down which they could reach whenever the need arose.

To mount an effective proposition we provided what amounts to an extension to their in-house resources so that when a capacity issue arises we need to provide a fast turnaround, quoting on a fixed price basis to complete a work-package which the client can either accept or reject. If accepted the work is scheduled and the service dovetails seamlessly with in-house operations
